Although there are a number of mobile communications platforms available on the market today, consideration must be given to integrating these solutions with your existing IT investment.

Many organisations have already invested in Microsoft Exchange Server as their messaging platform and so it makes sense to leverage this investment to provide an integrated mobile communications solution.

Recent improvements, with the launch of Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2) offer a significantly enhanced experience for mobile users as well as additional security and device control. This coupled with the improved functionality of Windows Mobile 5.0 means that organisations can utilise their Windows investment to improve the productivity and efficiency of their mobile workers.

Increase productivity and stay in touch

The enhancements in Exchange Service Pack 2 (SP2) offer new seamless Direct Push Technology e-mail. Mobile e-mail is a simple, security-enhanced and easy to set up service which enables your employees to remain productive, responsive and organised when out of the office.

Direct Push technology means that you no longer need to rely on Short Message Service (SMS) to notify and ensure that your device automatically retrieves new e-mail from your Exchange server.

SP2 uses an HTTP connection, maintained by the device, to push new e-mail messages, calendar, contact, and task notifications to the device.

As a Microsoft partner, we are able to take advantage of the global agreements that Microsoft has signed with a number of international mobile telecommunications companies to design and deliver truly mobile e-mail solutions based on Microsoft Exchange and Windows Mobile.
